Topps introduced baseball cards in 1951 and they quickly became a vital part of pop culture. Famed film director and CEO of SpikeDDB, Spike Lee is widely known to be an avid baseball card collector and has even passed on the tradition to his son. “This is one project that is near and dear to my heart because I’ve always enjoyed being a baseball card trader and collector over the years,” said Lee. “As SpikeDDB moves into more sports, entertainment branding, and original content, our relationship with Topps will be vital.
